Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Undertake research and evaluation for strategic policy initiatives.
- Manage projects from development to contract management.
- Develop and implement legislation and policies aligned with government priorities.
- Analyze policy issues and develop solutions to support organizational objectives.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective policy development.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and departmental policies.
- Experience managing projects and developing legislation/policy.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret legislation.
- Strategic thinking and ability to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to integrity, self-awareness, and personal development.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in public policy or governance (desirable).
