Role Type: Full-time permanent
As a Price Engagement Expert in Home Loans, you will be responsible for developing and driving strategic pricing decisions for the Home Loan Portfolio, balancing bank and customer outcomes.
What will your day look like
Your day to day activities involve:
- Developing recommendations on Home Loan pricing strategy to meet business objectives
- Presenting results of analysis to senior stakeholders and working with them to refine approaches and outcomes
- Building strong networks with frontline across ANZ sales channels
- Monitoring market/industry dyamics – both competitors and regulatory
- Working closely with support functions – Pricing Desk & Pricing Analytics – to inform and deliver the pricing strategy
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you should either have these skills already or be passionate about developing them:
- Excellent communication, strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and influencing skills, supported with a data-driven and analytical mindset
- Experienced in Pricing principles applicable to banking:
- Margin/Volume management, ideally with an understanding of internal transfer pricing
- Customer value and behaviour
- Experience presenting ideas and analysis to senior stakeholders
- A talent for data interpretation & visualisation, supported by some understanding of relational databases and data wrangling
- A problem solver – You are energised by tackling complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank
- Comfortable being uncomfortable – You are comfortable with uncertainty and have the ability to effectively manage yourself through ambiguity and change
