SalaryYour new role as Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join the team on a 3 month contract. You will report directly to the Procurement Manager and focus on general goods and services with cross category support. The office is located in Brisbane CBD.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist procurement support aligned with directives, improving outcomes through performance metrics
- Offer timely advice to stakeholders and suppliers on procurement processes and legislation
- Managing end-to-end procurement activities including planning, sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and contract management
- Maintain stakeholder relationships, conduct site visits as needed, and ensure efficient record management and system improvements
- Prior experience in Procurement, preferably within Government in the Goods and Services sectors
- High level of planning, sourcing, negotiation, tendering, and contract management skills
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking multiple procurement activities from start to finish
