About the role:
- Deliver an agile procurement model, operational efficiencies, high value outcomes and sustainable long-term savings.
- Assume responsibility for category strategy development and value delivery for In-direct categories, including marketing, HR, travel, professional services, IT Software, office consumables, storage, and novated leasing.
- Leverage CBRE's global buying power and proactively look for synergy benefits to drive value for the Pacific (Australia & New Zealand), whilst delivering long term sustainable savings benefits.
- Develop and manage preferred supplier agreement tenders, and vendor and performance management.
- Implement and drive CBRE's sustainability strategy and supplier diversity program in assigned portfolio.
- Develop localised category playbooks, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Deploy global best practice technology platforms such as procure to pay (P2P).
- Build strategic relationships, influence, engage and work in partnership with a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders across the business.
About you:
- Experience in Procurement Category management, proven track record in developing category strategies, and delivering long-term sustainable savings and breakthrough thinking in a greenfield environment.
- Experience negotiating and delivering procurement contracts below and over $10M in annual spend.
- Sound knowledge and competency in the application of Statutory Legislation including the Modern Slavery Act 2018
- Qualifications in procurement, possessing MICPS or an MBA is preferred.
- An ability to work to long term road maps with numerous projects running concurrently.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
