Senior Program Facilitator

The Role:

We are currently seeking two passionate Senior Program Facilitators to join the Connect and Respect Team. 

As a Senior Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a behaviour change program to support men and women who choose to use violence and/or abuse to cease their use of these behaviours while maximising the safety of victim survivors and children.

This position will be offered on a Fixed term Full Time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight. This role has the option to be based in Fremantle, Rockingham, Perth and Armadale, with travel between the sites required.

Selection Criteria:

• Tertiary qualification in the human services field, and/or significant experience in family and domestic violence.
• Relevant experience in a similar role, including individual support and group facilitation. 
• Worked with Aboriginal people and have a sound Aboriginal cultural knowledge.
• Intermediate computer, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Intermediate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Intermediate emotional distress and crisis management skills.
• Skills in risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, negotiation, and teamwork
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Family and Domestic Violence and working with Family Safety
• Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date)
• Unrestricted drivers’ licence 
• Working With Children Check
