Full time / Fixed term up until, 30/04/2027Opportunity to contribute and drive change for Indigenous futuresBase Salary (HEO7) $104,633 - $113,992 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThis position has been designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only under the provisions of section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).We are seeking a candidate well versed across Indigenous community engagement, with an active interest in improving the future self-determination of Indigenous Entrepreneurs, Business owners and Enterprising Communities.is a globally renown school, ranked in the top 1% worldwide across business and management education. In partnership with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce Inc (NSWICC), The University of Sydney Business School is co-delivering the Indigenous Supplier Development Program to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs to sustainably grow their businesses .As the Senior Program Officer, you will provide project management support and act as the core liaison point between the University of Sydney Business School and NSWICC, and as a point of contact for participants in the newly launched Indigenous Supplier Development Program. The Senior Program Officer will assist in driving the success of this business accelerator program and enhancing the experience of all program participants.Your key responsibilities will be to:Develop and implement effective administrative processes to support program deliveryMaintenance of accurate program informationProvide project management and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in the program delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement cycleCoordinate academic faculty, industry partners and the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce team to ensure partnership goals are met and a seamless program experienceProvide excellent and highly responsive level of customer service to prospective participants, current participants and program alumniManage program budget within funding model and oversee commercial aspects of the partnership agreement with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of CommerceAbout youIdentify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanderindustry experience working with Indigenous communities in an advisory capacity or equivalentdemonstrated understanding and connection to culture through community engagement and previous professional experienceability to network and build strong partnerships with internal/ external stakeholderscapacity to prioritise and manage competing deadlines/ projectsproficiency in Microsoft office applications and computer literacyTo keep our community safe, please be aware of our which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
