Senior Project Developer / Project Developer - HV Infrastructure
Competitive JD Ross Energy are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Developer / Project Developer to be based in Sydney for our Australian based client.
The role is dedicated to the planning and development of one of the NSP's customer projects portfolio including asset replacement programs, substation augmentations, develop generator connections/modifications, telecommunication system upgrades, transmission line modifications and other 3rd party driven network modifications. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate business acumen to clearly identify, define and articulate project scope and requirements to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and chair presentations for delivery and pricing strategy meetings project kick-offs to internal and external stakeholders
- Lead, engage, collaborate and co-ordinate the project development process across multiple disciplines to obtain internal and external stakeholder inputs and requirements
- Preparation of comprehensive scoping report summarising all internal and external stakeholder inputs and requirements
- Tertiary qualification at degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline
- Substantial experience in managing a range of project management activities for transmission line and substation projects including coordination of design, environment, regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement activities
- Experience in identifying key issues and alternatives across the areas of design, environmental assessment, and construction.
- Substantial experience in the development of project programs and cost estimates for projects.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines, which govern safety, engineering design, environmental assessment for the implementation of engineering projects
