The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Senior (Subsea) Project Engineer’s to join our established engineering team for upcoming subsea and ROV projects. These roles are based in West Perth, with project site visits and offshore work, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Work with the Project Manager and Lead Engineers to execute project workscopes. Regular Client interfacing is required.
• Analyse and modify new and existing engineering technologies and work with the Engineering team to apply them in the testing and implementation of engineering projects.
• Take responsibility for work packages and ensure HSE / quality and commercial delivery
• Supervise and guide Project Engineers and graduate engineers through design review, constructability and HAZID; and offshore execution.
• Manage subcontractor and equipment manufacturers, including documentation preparation and overseeing SIT and FATs.
Your success in securing this role will require:
• Significant experience in subsea design or project delivery
• Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical / mechatronic / civil / structural / ocean engineering or naval architecture.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project. Specialist software (ie Solidworks / Orcaflex ) engineering is desirable however not mandatory
• Full driving licence required.
• Capable of obtaining offshore survival course and passing associated medical exam
• Full Australian working rights required
