Due to continued growth across the region with anticipated award of several new projects we are now seeking a Marine Senior Project Engineer to join our team.
Job Description
Over the last few years our Western Region has been going through an unparalleled period of growth. We have been very busy delivering some of the state’s largest and most iconic infrastructure projects. We see 2024 as being no different. We are currently shortlisted on a number of diverse projects across the state and need some talented people to help us deliver them.
We are seeking a number of Senior Project Engineers with a strong Marine background to join our team. Working out of our Northbridge offices and reporting to our Project Manager you will be responsible to helping with the front end planning and execution of a number of projects.
Key accountabilities for the position:

• Assist in set up and creation of documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental,
• Lead client/contractor meetings
• Value engineering
• Plan and design components of the job and use your technical skills to resolve design challenges
• Responsibilities and controls around financial & program management in line with project outcomes while managing project teams taking on leadership of cohorts

Required Skills and Competencies
What Capability & Experience will you need to have

• You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or something similar
• Ideally you will have extensive experience on site working on a range of marine focused works
• Ideally you will be able to manage and drive program as well as display a high level of competency around contracts/financial management & team leadership
• Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients
