THE ROLE
The Senior Project Managers will work in a collaborative and innovative team providing advice on and managing the strategic planning of and procurement phase activities for the redevelopment of Homes Victoria high-rise tower sites in accordance with the Government's Housing Statement.
The role will require a dynamic, flexible candidate with experience in large-scale projects or programs across the business case and procurement phases of the investment lifecycle including construction, design and town planning processes and issues. The role will also require extensive project management experience, coordination of procurement processes, contract administration, experience in providing authoritative advice, reporting and building strong stakeholder relationships to deliver key capital project outcomes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Undertaking research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Managing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Prepare procurement documents and assist with evaluations, negotiations and facilitating decisions through program governance forums.
- Undertake quality management, due diligence and site investigation management.
