About the Role:
Here at Bayside, we have adopted an exciting four-year capital works program, and we are now on the lookout for an enthusiastic, multi-skilled and community minded Senior Project Manager to join our collaborative and supportive Project Services team, to support and deliver Capital Projects in the Bayside Municipality.
You will provide end to end Project Management services on large scale 'building or infrastructure' projects from inception right through to hand over.
The Capital Projects will be of a high profile nature and lead the way in capital projects being delivered in a collaborative, sustainable and innovative manner. An exciting time to be joining the team, where there is plenty to inspire you every day.
To be successful in the role (Key Selection Criteria):
Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management or relevant qualification
Extensive experience in the end to end delivery of large and complex built form and infrastructure projects in the Local Government sector
Excellent skills and experience in stakeholder management (internal and external) with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, project sponsors, community groups and other relevant stakeholders
Proficient in autonomous project management ensuring program, cost, scope, quality and safety objectives are managed throughout the project life cycle
Ability to multitask project delivery for a large portfolio of capital projects in a fast-paced environment
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
A current Victorian drivers licence
