The role:
- In consultation with the Director – Population Screening and Cancer Prevention (PS&CP), and other managers as and when required, provide best practice project management services.
- Prepare and maintain project and procurement documentation, including project plans, budgets, tenders, technical and business requirements, in accordance with the Department’s Project Management Framework and Government Procurement Guidelines.
- Initiate and undertake high level research, investigations and analysis in cooperation with others to deliver required project outputs and outcomes, including preparing any relevant briefs, submissions, reports and communications.
- Develop, establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. This including being sensitive to a range of needs while delivering agreed changes or project outcomes as well as planning and/or leading stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
- Provide high level specialised advice on, and attend to, complex and contentious issues either impacting on or impacted by the delivery of project activities and contribute to the development of solutions, providing options and recommendations.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 December 2025

Location: Hobart, Tasmania
Salary: $104,756 to $118,730 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
