West Moreton Rural Health Services is strengthening and expanding on existing rural medical training structures within West Moreton rural communities (Gatton, Boonah, Esk and Laidley), through the creation of a dedicated rural medical education and research team

About the role
This team will support medical staff at all levels in our rural communities, from students through to registrars and fellows, including hospital and community GP-based practitioners. These improvements in training, support and collaboration across the public and private sectors will be instrumental in building our rural communities into places where doctors choose to live and work.
A small project team will be established to support and facilitate the commencement of the Rural Medical Education Unit (RMEU) operations. This role will form a key part of this team and will be pivotal in ensuring project objectives are met successfully and within defined timelines.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High-level skills, knowledge and experience in project and program management.
- High level experience in management of complex change including the establishment of new and changing services.
- Understanding and experience in developing and implementing new and innovative work practices and/or models of service delivery.
- Effective high level oral and written communication skills, problem solving/analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.
