The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
- Provide direction and foster collaboration with HHSs and Queensland Health agencies on the management, coordination and reporting of waste management and avoidance programs to drive an integrated effort in waste management and procurement across the health network. Experience working with waste or resource recovery issues is desirable but not essential.
- Implement and strengthen data collection, analysis, monitoring and reporting frameworks and processes to ensure accurate assessment of waste management and reduction efforts against the established benchmarks and targets, including quantifiable benefits and cost savings to the health system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance processes, monitoring and reporting and the ability to support HHSs to develop and implement compliance plans, including monitoring and management of non-compliance or breaches.
- The ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders across QH, including HHSs to support better environmental outcomes. This will require development and maintenance of a suite of communication tools, materials and processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
