This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a branch with a mandate to enable Victorians using homelessness and social housing services access to contemporary, professional, high quality and effective responses that meet their needs. Reporting to the Manager Reform and Improvement, you will be part of a small, newly formed, dynamic fast-paced team that leads and oversees the delivery of Homes Victoria's public housing improvement plan and reform agenda to make public housing better. The team will also be responsible for building and implementing frameworks, systems and processes to improve the delivery of public housing services.
The Senior Project Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of the plan, supporting the embedding of change across Homes Victoria and housing operations divisions within the Department of Families Fairness and Housing and support the secretariat for the Public Housing Stewardship Group that oversee the delivery of the reform agenda.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Support the delivery of consultations and workshops required to support the communication and roll-out of the improvement plan and related reform initiatives.
