Project Claims Analysis is a leading project programming and contract services consultancy based in Sydney. We provide expert programming analysis, project planning / programming, and construction contract services to clients nationwide.
About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a motivated senior level Project Planner/Scheduler to join our Sydney CBD office.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Consulting with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
- Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
- Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner.
- Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports.
- Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
- Recommending actions to keep projects within budget, and completed on time.
- Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
- Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
About You
As an integral part of our team you will bring your past work experience along with:
- Minimum of 6 years domestic experience in project planning / programming.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project,
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and systems
- Familiar with Power Query and Power BI for data analysis and visualisation
- Able to travel interstate when required
- Degree qualified in building, construction or engineering is preferred.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience with Asta Powerproject
