This dynamic role will be responsible for:
• Ensuring Council's commercial and residential leased/licensed portfolio is professionally managed through driving occupancy and maximising positive net returns to the Council. The commercial aspect of the portfolio includes two of Council’s major assets, the Blackheath and Katoomba tourist/caravan parks alongside retail shops, mobile food vending and telecommunication facilities.• Carrying out all statutory property dealings including but not limited to road closures and sales, easements and airspace agreements in accordance with the relevant legislation while optimising the benefit to the Council and Community.• Conducting minor land acquisition and disposals in accordance with a proposed program or as required.• Supporting the Program Leader, Property Management Services and managing the Property Projects Officer in delivering the Property Management Services goals, objectives and operational activities.
You are a self-driven property professional with demonstrated experience in the successful management of a commercial and statutory property portfolio, preferably in a government environment. Your outcome-focus approach, sound judgement and advanced negotiation skills alongside excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service will provide you with opportunity to make this role your own. A Class C driver’s licence is required.
