Senior Property Officer - Sales

Our client's purpose is to protect, promote and support the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the people of NSW.They are currently looking for a Senior Property Officer experienced in Sales for a contract role until July 2024- possibility to extend. The role is based in Parramatta, paying $50 per hour + super.Key accountabilities/competencies

• Deliver high quality, consistent and timely real estate services (sale and purchase of property) to customers, both internally and externally, including taking responsibility for high volume and complex transactions, consistent with NSWTG’s customer experience statement.
• Ensure a coordinated approach to customer real estate matters by working closely with customers, beneficiaries, stakeholders, colleagues, and external service providers such as Real Estate Agents, Solicitors and Strata Managers.
• Provide support, guidance and advice on real estate matters whilst working closely with internal departments as required.
• Dealing with challenging and difficult customers and stakeholders that may be very emotional and stressed during a difficult period of their life and who may have unrealistic expectations and timelines
• Maintaining sensitivity, discretion and a professional manner in handling difficult enquiries and issues.

We are looking for the following skills and attributes:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Adaptable with a tenacious attitude
• Property sales experience and a knowledge of the conveyancing process

The duties performed by the position are:

• Property sales via online management system
• Liaising with real estate agents, panel solicitors, customers, beneficiaries, and stakeholders
• Obtaining quotes and arranging clearance of contents
• Managing repairs for customer properties prior to sale
• Administrative duties as required
