Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.
We are currently searching for a Senior QA/QC Coordinator to join the Woodman Point Project team in Perth. Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, you will be responsible for compiling surveillance plans to assure client quality requirements are achieved. The Senior QA/QC Coordinator will oversee implementation of the surveillance program and ensuring the scheduled inspection, testing and surveillance activities during manufacture and construction are carried out via the coordination and presence of QC Inspectors, Engineers, third parties, Inspection and Testing Sub-contractors.
The role will be initially based in the Perth Head Office and will transition to site (Perth southern suburbs) in 2024 as construction activities commence.

Your focus will include:
Ensuring the promotion, awareness and compliance to Clough Management System is maintained.
Developing and implementing construction and source inspection planning, surveillance and scheduling activities, monitor and reporting of inspection progress.
Compiling service assignment notices to engage Subcontract Inspection Provider to perform permanent or periodic site visits based on criticality to carry out in-process inspection, monitoring, witness test, and release as specified within ITP's.
Managing notifications ensuring attendance of critical activities such as witness and hold points.
Ensuring required quality documentation is implemented to ensure compliance with established codes, Clough standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Liaison with procurement, package engineers, site supervisors, management to report quality conformance is met based on inspection and testing.
Communicating inspection findings for self-performed work and evaluate third party inspection report action items. Contacting with stakeholders regarding inspection coordination, tracking, results and highlight issues or action items.
Attending kick-off meetings to address quality contractual requirements and conducting pre-production / pre-inspection meetings with nominated suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure all quality control activities have been understood.
Reviewing and approving supplier / sub-contractor project deliverables ensuring alignment and compliance to specified standards and regulations.
Reviewing of RFQ documents to ensure project quality specification requirements have been adequately defined and addressed.
Developing project ITP's & verification plans and reviewing / approving supplier / sub-contractor quality deliverables including MDR dossiers.
Coordinating source inspection activities, ensuring the inspection and testing of procured items and during construction is carried out, traceability maintained, and final deliverables are completed in a timely manner for compilation into MRB's and final handover.
Stopping progress of works when any non-conformance with quality requirements is identified. Proposing and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Performing release activities including closure of all quality action items, NCR's, Car's, TQ's. Issue inspection and release notes, completion certificates.
What you will bring to the team:
7 years+ industry experience in a similar role within an engineering and construction environment.
Trade Qualification
Lead Auditor Certification.
Ability to communicate in a disciplined and constructive manner.
Ability review and interpret technical requirements in the Contracts.
Strong commitment to safety and wellbeing of people.
