SalaryOur client a major player in the sporting management industry, is seeking an enthusiastic React Web/ Mobile Applications Developer to join their growing teams.
This is a permanent role ideally based onsite in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Key Skills Required:
- Proficient in TypeScript and strong experience with the React and RTK libraries.
- Writing maintainable, secure, scalable, performant and well-tested code.
- Strong experience implementing GraphQL and RESTful API’s, including data caching and syncing.
- Strong experience with transforming React Apps to Progressive Web Apps Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote continuous improvement.
- Able to utilise version control tools effectively.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes growth.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate project updates, technical requirements, and potential roadblocks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers, both locally and remote.
- Communication and collaboration are facilitated using Jira, Confluence, Slack, Figma.
- Troubleshooting and resolving bugs in a timely manner, ensuring smooth user experiences, and minimising downtime.
- In-depth knowledge and experience developing React for mobile-first web apps Experience with a wide range of frameworks and tools; able to adapt to any existing patterns while offering suggestions for improvements
- Solid understanding of User Interface design principles and patterns, with great attention to detail.
- Architecting and optimising code for optimal performance.
- Familiarity with agile development practices
- Automated testing, including unit tests, TDD, UI tests
