We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Registered Nurse to join our diverse and passionate nursing team in our renowned and prestigious aged care facility - Lulworth House, on a part - time basis.
Registered Nurse responsibilities may include:
- Providing excellent clinical care to the residents
- Working in accordance with St Luke’s Care policies and procedures
- Communicating effectively with residents, their families, doctors and staff (both internal and external) as well as demonstrate a mature and empathetic attitude to the aged
- Working autonomously with a positive attitude
- Participating in quality activities and continual improvement
- Clinical assessment, care planning, and updating patient/resident documentation
- Guiding and managing your team of Assistants in Nursing
Essential Criteria:
- Must have previous, relevant experience in an aged care setting.
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, residents, family and friends.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Unconditional AHPRA Registration for Registered Nurse.
- A sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
