We are a disability nursing company looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our friendly team in the Blue Mountains. The role involves clinical consulting with our Branch Manager, community care visits to clients and coordinating client services. As an RN you would work closely with management. Training as required.
We specialise in acquired brain injury and are looking for a Registered Nurse with minimum 5 years clinical experience. Experience in brain injury, mental health, challenging behaviours, PEGs, spinal care, catheters and bowel care is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment of client's clinical needs
- Regular evaluation of client's services
- Drafting of client Individual Support Plans
- Community Care visits to clients
- Assistance with rotating roster of after-hours phone service
- Liaising with Case Managers and other professionals involved in a clients care
- Consult with Branch Manager regarding clinical matters
- Training field staff in clinical competencies
- Day to day management of client needs
- Compliance with WH&S legislation and company policy and procedure
