Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Large Fund Manager Financial Control. Varied Reporting Role Sydney CBD Strong communications skills.

Our client, a prominent growing bank based in the Sydney CBD are looking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to take responsibility for the reporting and also system improvements across their control division.
In this role you will be required to act as the primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent regulatory, statutory and AASB knowledge and confident to work closely with clients and lead the team as 2IC
This role will suit an experienced Senior Financial Accountant who is transitioning to an assistant manager role.
Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of financial statements and review of accounts
• Assist in the monitoring of liquidity and cashflow analysis.
• Liaising with auditors and clients and be the first point of contact for review and resolve any issues
• Provides information, reports and conduct analysis for the investment group
• Financial statement consolidation
• APRA reporting
• Liaise and manage relationships with Auditors
• Adhere and review operational risk policies

Skills and Experience Required
It is likely that you will have Financial Accounting experience and be looking for a new challenge in a team environment.

• CA / CPA qualified
• 4 years or more in a similar role
• Great interpersonal skills
• Be confident in your understanding of technical accounting
• Strong Communication skills
• Be a good team player
• Strong interest in process improvements
• Must be a self starter and take initiative

You will also need to have excellent communication skills and have experience auditing large ASX listed organisations, within Finance Services, Banks or last investments firms.
