The position of Compliance Data Analyst will report to the EM Regulatory Engagement and Breach Reporting, with a dotted line to the EM Compliance and Risk Management Framework Monitoring Assurance. The role will be varied where you will have an opportunity to learn about the RBS business and apply your data analytics skills to ‘real-world’ problems.

The Retail Banking Services compliance (RBS Compliance) team, in the Risk Management function, comprises of specialist teams supporting and partnering with the business by providing compliance advice, leading regulatory engagements and Breach Reporting, and providing Line 2 oversight in the form of frameworks, policies, tools, and techniques, to support risk and compliance management.
Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. RBS provides the full suite of retail products including deposit accounts, credit cards, home loans and insurance and distribute digitally and via our call centres and extensive branch network.

- Adept with understanding of business processes, managing multiple projects and key priorities to achieve business goals.
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but having significant experience and exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.
- Experience with analytical tools and platforms such as Python, SAS, SQL, Alteryx and Tableau
- Experience using database management systems (e.g., Teradata, Spark, Hive)
- A strong background in compliance data management will be a big plus!
