The Senior Insights and Reporting Analyst role is critical to supporting the Bank in reporting and managing its risks. This role has end-end view of risk management across core risk practices, developing reporting on performance and insights into key Bank and Group Committees, such as the Suncorp Non-Financial Risk and Compliance Committee.
We are looking for a candidate that wants to learn and grow their risk and compliance knowledge, has a passion for driving performance through data analysis and reporting and is an exceptional at working collaboratively with others leading by example.
This role reports to the Reporting & Control Assurance Leader and supports Banking and cross function working groups to ensure effective consultation for the design and delivery of reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with BEAR accountabilities for the function.
The Senior Insights & Reporting Analyst is accountable for ensuring deliverables align with both Group and Banking Policies, Frameworks and Standards, whilst ensuring solutions support Banking’s compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do
- Analysing data to provide value add insights to improve management of operational risks, obligations and compliance risks for the Bank.
- Design and maintain non-financial risk reporting and reports for the Bank including recommending risk ratings for the CEO profile based on analysis and insights of key data and business trends.
- Coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders across the entire Group, with specific focus on Bank, CRO and Technology.
- Challenge and simplify existing reporting solutions and non-financial risk reporting.
- Develop, deliver, and implement dynamic operational risk and compliance KRI metric solutions to support Banking teams with monitoring and managing trends and results.
- Implement automated solutions where possible to reduce cost to Banking teams and ensure an improved customer experience.
- Providing training and support for reporting solutions and reporting governance created within the team, and to Banking teams as required.
- Work with key stakeholders to build knowledge and maturity of robust governance practices.
- Assisting, coaching, and upskilling Reporting Analysts within the team.
- Complete ad-hoc work as required to support the delivery of Banking strategic objectives.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant degree in Business, Technology, or related field - Desired.
- 3+ years’ experience in banking or financial services with a strong focus on reporting, risk, and compliance.
- High attention to detail ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Proficient technical skills working understanding of Excel, Tableau, Cognos, and dashboard management.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional time management, planning and prioritisatipon.
