What you'll be doing
This position will provide statistical analysis, reporting, advice and support to clinicians, researchers, research students and other staff as required.
This position will apply statistical methods to clinical research and conduct statistical analysis of health data using various statistical packages.
This position will support the activities of Research across NSLHD, providing advice and analysis of a wide variety of projects.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Post-graduate qualifications in biostatistics or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience in statistical analysis programming in at least one software package (e.g. SAS), and demonstrated capacity to develop skills in other statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS, STATA, R).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day to day operational matters.
