Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with local government to secure a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer for this 3-month opportunity. The role has a heavy focus on data analysis and reporting, and closely resembles a business Analyst position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data analysis, data reporting / trending and interpretation
- Complete root cause analysis and Compliance investigations including reviewing recommendations reports with respect to compliance breaches and risk management.
- Maintain Council’s Risk and Compliance management information systems (Risk and Compliance registers) to aggregate, analyse and report on corporate risks and Compliance obligations.
Essential Requirements:
- Progression towards qualifications (diploma level) or equivalent extensive practical experience in governance, risk management and Compliance functions in a large.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical advice on risk management and corporate compliance, including interpretation and application of legislative and statutory requirements.
- Experience in investigative compliance actions, evidence gathering, performing root cause analysis, assessment of complex breaches of legislation and demonstrated knowledge of compliance activities.
