Today they are seeking to appoint a passionate people leader into a Senior Sales Manager – Vehicle role. Reporting directly to the GM Sales & Settlements, this is a newly created opportunity to support this already high performing team. Leading a team of 130 FTE across New Business Development, Client Retention and Sales Support across 4 different states, you will have the unique opportunity to bring your proven sales and leadership knowledge and skills into this already high preforming but stable team. This is a dynamic, fast paced environment; one that will require you to leverage off your strong leadership experience supporting highly profitable sales consultants. You will also have proven expert knowledge in supporting the end-to-end sales cycle including the management of tri-party agreements. So, what you will bring
- Minimum 3 years experience in motivating, leading and managing medium to large sales teams.
- Proven relationship building skills in working with internal and external vendors.
- Demonstrated experience in consistently delivering sales results.
- Proven ability to coach and develop leadership across direct and indirect reports and being an active agent for promotion of inclusion and diversity across teams.
- Effective leadership and development of team leaders to ensure strong engaged leadership across geographically dispersed teams.
- Building a strong and engaged sales team with a focus on skills development, capability uplift and succession planning.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Settlements Manager to ensure the monthly and quarterly stretch settlement numbers are achieved
- Building and maintaining relationships with all financiers to optimise funding panels arrangements and identification and delivery of operational efficiencies
- Accountability and development of sales strategy, new business, customer retention and delivery of growth targets
- Utilisation of customer and client feedback to ensure issues are addressed and root causes proactively managed to optimise NPS outcomes
- Reporting of key themes and trends to relevant stakeholders
- Accurate reporting and insights against achievement of key metrics and targets
- Managing and resolving client and customer issues as well as championing continuous improvements across people, process and technology
- Working collaboratively with project stakeholders to see projects successfully through to business implementation (BAU)
- Planning and reporting of sales activity and opportunities for driving growth across all key metrics
- Take full accountability for the development of a large (130 FTE) multi-site (4) and high performing sales & contact centre team servicing B2C customers
- Enjoy a highly competitive rem: Base between $150k - $170k + super (experience dependant) + 20% STI
- Operate with a level of autonomy whilst also enjoying the opportunity to peer collaborate nationally
- Work for a highly successful General Manager, who has spent the last few years developing this highly profitable business model
