Form of workOur client is a well-known FMCG brand who are embarking on a strategic business systems integration program of work. This technical and business partnering role reports to Executive level and works closely with Technology. The primary focus is leading, establishing and communication of the end-to-end Data Migration strategy.
The key responsibilities are:
- Lead, support and execute the Data Migration strategy for the integration of all Non-SAP systems to SAP
- Run and lead technical design workshops with stakeholders (PMs, BAs, Functional Leads, IT, Infrastructure, etc)
- Work closely with the project stream leads to understand the Data Migration requirements
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation and be involved in exception handling
- Engage with application teams to evaluate the viable technical options for migrating data
- Produce documentation re Data Migration Strategy, Cutover Plan, Architecture, Design Documentation and Reconciliation Processes - in particular, migration of data to SAP
- Produce, functional / technical specifications for any developments required to support Data Migration
- Provide hands-on technical and development support to the Data Migration team during the implementation and testing of the solution across multiple environments
- Perform technical assessment of new scope for Data Migration activities and produce effort estimates
- Support end to end testing life cycles activities that are related to the Data Migration activities
You are a Senior SAP Data practitioner with broad SAP experience. You are a proven leader with a track record of delivering complex enterprise Data Migration projects to SAP, ideally within a large FMCG organisation. The ability to lead the Data Migration across multiple streams of the program of work and be hands-on at the same time is essential.
