About the role
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a passionate, motivate and patient focused Evening Senior Scientist Permanent Part timehours at our Osborne Park Laboratory
As evening Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for providing leadership as a part of the evening Microbiology team at the Osborne Park laboratory. This role would be ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career. You will be a self-motivated individual, who can demonstrate an attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Laboratory Science or an AIMS accredited equivalent as a minimum.
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a diagnostic clinical pathology environment, with specific experience in a Microbiology department.
- Previous experience in leading a team would be advantageous
- High attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team.
- The ability to identify and analyse issues, problems and opportunities in a timely and effective manner.
- Exceptional communication, time management & organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team, pathologists, referring Doctors and patients
- The ability to contribute towards the delivery of customer focused services.
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with WHS policies and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
