And it's our expert Technology & Operations (T&O) team who forge ahead every day to make those 'what ifs' a reality.The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for supporting and driving security initiatives across the Technology Domain. The role identifies areas for improvements by working with security teams, delivery teams, architects, and leadership to deliver security strategy and roadmaps.What you'll do

• Recognised as SME in Application Security related domains by peers and the business
• Influences and communicates Security Strategy and operational roadmaps
• Identifies and initiates activities to reduce Security business risk and improve overall security posture
• Identifies and monitors environment and market trends and pro-actively assesses impact on business strategies, benefits and risks
• Provides significant positive influence on stakeholders, with major security outcomes achieved
• Drives the delivery of the security uplift strategy and roadmap across Technology
• Delivers and operates Enterprise scalable security automation tools and services

What you'll bring

• 5+ years' experience in information security operations, risk management or assurance
• 5+ years' experience of working with Security tools
• Deep understanding of common vulnerabilities facing mobile applications, web applications and APIs
• Previous experience in software development is highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience of working within an IT team in a financial services institution
• IT Security Industry qualifications such as CEH, CSSLP and OSCP
