Senior Service Officer (Payroll Reconciliations)
Location - Goulburn with flexible work arrangements
Employment type - Ongoing (Full Time)
Clerk Grade 5/6. Salary- $93,295- $102,941 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
The Shared Services and Customer Experience (SSCX) area partners in the delivery of value added shared services, performance and risk solutions that result in improved customer experiences. The work we do enables our customers to deliver their services.
SSCX provide HR/Payroll and Finance transactional services to several entities within the Justice Cluster. The Finance Reconciliations Team provides services for Payroll/Finance Reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations and Workers Compensation claim reimbursements.
What you'll do
In this role you will:
- Conduct and review medium to large reconciliations in a timely manner and in accordance with service level agreements.
- Proactively investigate and resolve anomalies identified in the preparation of reconciliations, working closely with customer agencies to ensure that aged items are investigated and cleared.
- Produce and provide appropriate audit documentation including reports, reconciliations and samples for the Audit Office to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve data capture in the reconciliation process, including assisting with testing enhancements and upgrades within the ERP and other corporate systems
- Prepare accurate month and year end processing and close procedures.
This role sits within the Reconciliation Team in Shared Services providing a range of services to a number of Agencies. The team collaborates on processes encourages teamwork, open and honest communication
What we're looking for
Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in account reconciliation and demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy. In addition, must demonstrate strong organisational skills with attention to detail, display initiative and the ability to think and solve problems
