Tech Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:
Git: Knowledge of version control using Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
AWS: Familiarity with AWS services or other public clouds, understanding of serverless architecture and Lambda functions
Docker: Experience working with docker containers and/or public cloud container platforms like ECS, EKS
Node.js: Familiarity with Node.js for server-side logic and integration with front-end elements.
TypeScript: Proficiency in TypeScript for adding strong typing to JavaScript, enhancing code quality and maintainability.
Next.js: Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering, static site generation desirable.
RESTful APIs: Experience in consuming RESTful services and APIs within the front-end framework.
State Management Techniques: Familiarity with state management libraries and techniques, such as Redux and Context Hooks, to manage application state.
Familiarity with Modern Build Tools: Experience with build and bundling tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM scripts.
Debugging Skills: Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting web applications, using tools like Chrome DevTools.
Accessibility and Web Standards: Knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices to create inclusive and accessible web applications.
Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced development environment.
