UGL Defence has been awarded and recently commenced an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels network. We are recruiting a Junior Engineer – Asset Manager, to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
The Role
Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will be based in our newly created Defence Hub in North Sydney, supporting National sites and locations. This role is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Asset management framework, plans, processes and policy to align with ISO55001 standards
- Identify and analyse data to support development of AMP’s to provide ongoing maintenance for the entire fuel infrastructure network
- Support establishment and implementation of risk-based decision-making processes, asset performance metrics and cost models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities, monitor asset performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Asset Management or similar related field
- Knowledge of Asset Management standard ISO 55001 and its application
- Ability to analyse and develop trends within asset maintenance and management
- Autonomous self-starter, with ability to adapt in a developing environment
