Walters steakhouse in Brisbane is looking for a strong Senior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are an upmarket New York style steakhouse showcasing house dry-aged porterhouses alongside a produce driven menu paying homage to the heyday of restaurant dining.
Our kitchen is fast paced, so large capacity upmarket restaurant experience is vital.
Requirements
Cert III or equivalent qualification
A positive, self driven attitude towards your work
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar environment
Ability to work as part of a team, float in and out of sections as required and work autonomously to run the kitchen brigade.
Ability to manage and direct a kitchen team, leading by example
Running and expediting a multifaceted kitchen during busy services
Good sense of quality control
Grill and butchery experience
