The Role:
The Senior Sous Chef will play a critical role in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to manage all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes training and developing the team, providing hands-on leadership in a high-volume environment, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a methodical and positive approach, with a strong ability to adapt and drive change, ensuring each dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in team development, training, and upskilling.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ingredients.
- Experienced working on Raw Bar and Habachi or Charcoal Grills.
- Excellent skills in managing the pass and kitchen operations.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
