AddressWhitehouse Properties is a family run Hotel Group. The Beach Road Hotel, Bondi Beach is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to help lead the team at our iconic Hotel in the heart of Bondi Beach.
- Reporting directly to Head Chef and combine to lead the venue
- Assisting the creative control and influence on the menu, writing recipes, creating whole dishes, recipe cards and the like
- Quality control - food quality & service - delivering the “wow” moments our Eastern Suburbs Locals deserve
- Stock control, adhering to budgets and maximising supplier relationships
- Function experience - ability to coordinate tasks and manage functions such as canapes for cocktail parties & set menus for the restaurant and events
- Day to day assisting operations in the kitchen and coordinating service
- Training and mentoring the team
- Maintaining a clean operation, ensuring compliance with Food Safety Standards and equipment maintenance
Must Have:
2 years experience in a senior chef role either Sous, Senior Sous, or Head Chef role.
Experience in menu writing and creating the dining experience
Experience in building and leading theteam
