Tijuana's Manly is a Peruvian/Mexican casual fine dining restaurant/bar, providing an all round dining experience that represents all the amazingness of both Mexico and Peru.
We have a high rating on google and within the community and strive to maintain a strict standard of quality across the board.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate senior chef with a minimum of 2 years in a fast paced kitchen, operating in all areas, experience running the pass is essential. Looking for someone who is driven and looking to further their career and experience working under a reputable senior chef of 44years experience across Michelin stared & hatted restaurants.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work between 40-45 full-time hours weekly.
What skills are required for the role?
- Directs food preparation
- Able to collaborate with Head Chef on operations within the kitchen, as well as staff training
- Assists in menu planning
- Helps in the design/plating/presentation of the food dishes
- Overseas and supervises kitchen staff
- Inventory and management of supplies
- Ensures the the food is at top quality and kitchen is in a constant good state
- Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards
- Offers suggestions and creative input the can improve the kitchens performance
- Ability to collaborate collectively with both Head Chef and owner regarding specials and events
- New staff training
- Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment
