Job description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior People Services Specialist to join our HR team. As a Senior People Services Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our employees throughout their entire lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating smooth transitions into their roles.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and assistance on a wide range of HR-related matters.
• Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management, in accordance with company policies and legislation.
• Collaborate with the ANZ People Services team to develop and implement HR programs, initiatives, and drive process improvement projects.
• Manage the offboarding process for departing employees and coordinating with the Payroll and HRIS team.
• Support the business with cyclical activities such as performance reviews, annual salary reviews, bonuses & engagement surveys
• Provide support & be a contact for the Payroll team
• Support in facilitating learning & development sessions
About the team:
You will truly be joining a very collaborative and supportive HR team that spans across ANZ. Within the People Services Team we have Payroll, Talent Acquisition, HR Coordination & HRIS. The wider HR team is made up of HRBP's and HRM's which support the business across ANZ. The whole HR team meet every Monday across ANZ to promote collaboration and information sharing across the team, there are also individual weekly WIP's for continued support and guidance.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations, HR operations, or HR generalist functions.
• Thorough understanding of local employment laws and regulations.
• High level of business acumen
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Mid-level understanding of payroll
