About the role..
The Royal Rehab Private Hospital & Day Program are a business segment of the Royal Rehab Group. The driving philosophy of care is that of person centeredness and collaboration between all stakeholders. The Senior Speech Pathologistis a key member of the Royal Rehab Private Hospital, overseeing and providing high quality evidence-based Speech Pathology interventions to clients with neurological, spinal and degenerative conditions.

Some of the exciting opportunities for our Speech Pathologists include:
- Working with a close-knit multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals, with support from a dynamic speech pathology team.
- Access to the latest Speech Pathology technology including a large suite of applications and eye-gaze technology.
- Developing a Speech Pathology-led FEES service at Royal Rehab.
We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:
- A degree in Speech Pathology and eligible for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in working within a rehabilitation framework and a multidisciplinary team.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and quality projects.
- Excellent time management, flexibility and self-organisation skills.
- Trained in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) or strong interest in being trained in FEES.
- Eagerness to support & develop a Level 1/2 Speech Pathologist & students.
- Competent computer user, specifically with Microsoft products.
