The National Disability Insurance Agency has recognised the unique challenges of service provision in very remote areas and has partnered with TCHHS to establish Early Childhood Approach (ECA) services for communities in the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area (NPA).
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Deliver high level paediatric Occupational Therapy/Speech Pathology/Physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services as part of a multi/trans disciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously utilising problem-solving skills to manage a complex and varied caseload in a complex geographic and demographic region, applying evidence-based practice and clinical judgement with minimal clinical practice supervision.
- Effective liaison with clients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students, and researchers.

Requirements for the role:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership with the relevant professional association.
