Registration: Eligible for practicing membership of Speech Pathology AustraliaSelection Criteria * Advanced competency demonstrated in the management of adults with swallowing disorders including the provision of objective assessment.

• Advanced competency demonstrated in the management of adults with communication impairments across the continuum of acute, subacute and Rehabilitation settings.
• Demonstrated and recent experience in a tertiary hospital working in the area stroke and Rehabilitation managing complex highly acute patients including a thorough understanding of patient flow and patient safety in the hospital setting.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Actively practices the principles of Evidence Based Practice and engages in professional development for relevant clinical areas with strong experience in quality management or research.
• Experience in the provision of clinical supervision and training of staff and/or students and advanced time management and organisation skills.
• An understanding of service co-ordination, evaluation, planning and development and any experience leading a team of Speech Pathologists.
• Current drivers licence valid within Australia
