About the Role
The Senior Student Services Advisor (Foundation Studies) (SSSA FS) assists and supports the Associate Director, Quality Assurance and Standards, to facilitate a high-quality student experience by overseeing the operations of the Student Services administration team. The SSSA FS is a member of the Student Services management team and will have a close working relationship with the other members of the management team.
About You
To be successful in this position you will have:
Essential
- Highly developed administrative, time management and organisational skills
- Highly proficient in MS Office; specifically, Excel. Basic data analysis and reporting skills in Excel
- Demonstrated experience in the use of databases in an educational setting
- Ability to effectively and independently analyse and solve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate responsibility, and provide support plus encouragement to direct report(s).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication
- Extensive customer service experience and skills
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, document and advise on changes to work processes
- Detailed understanding of the ESOS Act 2000, National Code of Practice and other relevant standards
- Ability to maintain the security and integrity of confidential information and records
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and best practice principles
- Experience working with internal and external clients of diverse cultural backgrounds
- Experience in working in a fast-paced educational setting
- Current Working with Children Check
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Ability to communicate in a language other than English
- Previous experience using StudyLink, SAMS and Intrinsiq databases
