Customer Experience and Digital Technology?

The purpose of Customer Experience and Digital Technology is to design, build and maintain products, services and experiences that Australian's love and trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post. The key areas that Customer Experience and Digital Technology is responsible for include Customer Experience, Customer Services, Decipha, Identity and Financial Services, Digital Channels, Data Science, Data Commercialisation, Product Engineering and Platforms, as well as Technology.

What does the role involve?

We have a number of vacancies for this role across different seniority levels. 

As a part of the application support team, you will be responsible for the management of defined applications by installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring, and maintaining the applications to keep them in a usable state, ensuring they are correct, consistent, and available at all required times.

You will be involved in delivering minor works, estimations, design and systems development work in time, budget, and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards.  We will rely on you to drive the technical investigation and participate in the troubleshooting process for incident/problem tickets and resolving technical issues that may arise during the whole development lifecycle.

What are we looking for?

  • Technical expertise in supporting enterprise level JAVA applications built for cloud (AWS) environment;
  • Working experience on Oracle and PostgreSQL database;
  • Experience working in microservices and API development;
  • Experience with monitoring tools i.e., Sumologic. Site24X7, New relic will be seen favourably;
  • ITIL foundation certified preferred;
  • Intermediate/advanced AWS knowledge;
