We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Systems Engineer to join a lean, global IT team. You will be essential in supporting a wide array of Level 1/2/3 service issues, ensuring seamless operations of business systems, customer websites, and internal user requests. Your role will involve identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems, providing top-tier support, and managing customer systems and PRA-hosted websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional technical support to all staff in line with service level obligations.
- Ensure the availability and operation of public systems (webservers, MSSQL Servers, infrastructure servers) during key business hours.
- Maintain and support internal infrastructure and AWS WorkSpaces.
- Assist with the configuration, installation, maintenance, upgrade, and support of computer hardware/software in AWS and PRA Office.
- Establish and maintain Patch Management Plans for servers and end-user devices.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Infrastructure Design guidelines.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on systems administration experience.
- Prior experience in financial services (desired).
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS (certification highly regarded).
- Proficiency in networking intrastate providing connectivity to cloud environments.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and architecting solutions.
- Linux and Windows server and desktop administration in secure environments.
- Strong understanding of IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
