About the role
With the continued growth of our NSW operations, we are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will help deliver the Talent Acquisition to our larger joint venture project. Reporting to the NSW Talent Acquisition Lead, you will form part of a team of Talent Acquisition Advisors. Your remit will cover effectively delivering highly capable and culturally aligned staff to one of our multi-billion-dollar projects, reducing the reliance on recruitment agencies and ensuring compliance with all recruitment procedures across the project.
You will be supported by both a regional and national TA function, helping you build capability and experience in your role.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers and business leaders.
- Reduce the reliance on recruitment agencies' spend across the business units as directed.
- Oversee all recruitment activities' compliance with the Project Policies and procedures and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Work with the Project HR team and TA Lead to provide updated information for Resource planning across the project recruitment needs with a 3-6-12 month look ahead.
- Delivery of highly capable staff through unique talent-sourcing strategies.
- Suggest improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance recruitment delivery.
Required Skills and Competencies
Qualifications and experience
- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field..
- Strong proficiency in recruitment systems and tools, ideally Workday
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Proven experience delivering search- and select-based recruitment with highly technical infrastructure, mining, and construction roles.
