We have a new opportunity for a Tax Manager, to join our group finance team.  Reporting to the Head of Tax and Teasury, the role will support Quantium Group globally with tax compliance obligations, reviewing, creating and implementing processes and being a mentor and coach to other team members.

This role will offer scope and opportunity outside a traditional Tax Manager role, with the chance to really make it your own, create impact and make a contribution to our processes and operations.

Key areas of focus:

• Preparation and review of all tax compliance obligations, as well as transfer pricing reviews, across Quantium globally
• Year-end tax calculations preparation, including tax notes for financial reporting
• Provide advice in regards to tax issues, legislation and employee mobility issues
• Drive process and continuous improvements, identify opportunities for change, drive the change and implementation, including technology automation
• Build relationships with both external and internal stakeholders

This is a permanent full-time role, based out of our head office in Eveleigh, conveniently located near Redfern station.  About you

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. Bringing with you your current experience and knowledge of tax management, you will have a curious mind and be able to analyse processes with the confidence to challenge and implement best practice methodologies.

You will be able to navigate ambiguity confidently, with experience in complex, high change organisations.  A background and understanding of FMCG, Retail or Tech industries would be advantageous.  As a senior member of the team, you will have experience coaching, leading and guiding others with the ability to provide direction and create learning opportunities.

You must have applicable degree qualifications as well as professional qualifications (CA or TIA).

As the Tax Manager you will have exceptional communication skills and be able to liaise with all stakeholders across Quantium globally, as well as any external partners.
