About the Role:

SMAART Recruitment is thrilled to collaborate with a national leader in employment, skills, and support services, presenting an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Team Leader. Joining a dynamic and diverse business, you'll play a key role in managing and enhancing the performance of a Canberra-based contact centre, contributing significantly to its success and growth.

As a Team Leader, you will report directly to an Operations Manager interstate. You will be the senior lead of the Canberra business. This hands-on role where you will manage the performance of 15 customer service employees, developing a high-performing team, conduct auditing and and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Proven experience in providing strong leadership within a Contact Centre is highly regarded for this position.  with transferable skills considered.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of Customer Service employees through training, development, and ongoing support.
• Manage performance and results, ensuring daily operations align with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for business growth and diversity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on training and development, workload planning, and recruitment.
• Uphold standards of compliance with health, safety policies, and overall business standards.
• Managing inbound and outbound communications.
• Building strong relationships across business units and functions that contribute to/influence the team activities and outcomes.
