About the role…
As the Senior Test Analyst, you are responsible for implementing and executing Great Southern Bank’s Test Strategy for the delivery of projects and initiatives. You will provide expertise and execute the implementation of testing strategies including critical activities such as planning, stakeholder management, reporting, test automation, resource management and risk/ issue management.
Your stakeholder management skills and ability to prioritise workflow will ensure that testing activities are delivered in alignment with project schedules, quality standards, and budget.
You will contribute to the continual improvement of the testing methodology, test tools, processes, approaches, and techniques
Proactively collaborating with critical stakeholders for internal and external projects, you will provide accurate test estimates and manage the defect management process and tools, ensuring the quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, as well as actively participating in the testing forums for new suggestions and should be skilled with planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
About you..
5+ years of experience in Testing- ideally test automation – and complex integration projects
Significant Experience with CD/CI tooling such as Jenkins
Experience managing automation testing tools such as Selenium (Java)
Familiar with Jira, Quality Centre/ALM or equivalent tools
Experienced in version controlling using Git/ Stash
Experience with Behaviour-Drive Development, including Cucumber and Gherkin
Experience with API Service testing and virtualisation tools such as SoapUi, and Parasoft.
Experience with performance testing tools, such as FinSim, JMeter
Experience with web usability and navigation standards (including web browser features and limitations)
Demonstrated relationship management, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills Cucumber, BDD and TestNG
Experience working in banking financial services or wealth management domain.
Strong functional testing capabilities in SIT, UAT and Regression Testing, working with upstream and downstream testing, with reference to data feed.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a can-do attitude
Ability to learn new things and gain expertise in complex business systems quickly, and with attention to detail
A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodology
A proactive mindset, identifying and suggesting improvements to our solutions and driving continuous improvement
Ensure the types of testing needed to produce quality software are executed i.e. functional, system, integration, and regression, and are planned to fit into the Agile delivery cycle
Knowledge of all levels and types of testing – functional, system, regression, user acceptance, stress and performance
Knowledge or experience with Web Services (XML/SOAP) and some Integration Platform API testing
Degree in relevant discipline
Formal training or certification in software testing, or software quality assurance
