The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Specialist with strong experience to join our growing team and contribute to the development that empowers our organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Essential skills & Experience:

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Analyse user needs, design software solutions, and write efficient, maintainable code using programming languages and frameworks.
• Work closely with other members of the development team, such as designers, product managers, and other engineers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Solve complex technical problems related to software development, including debugging issues, optimizing performance, and addressing security vulnerabilities.
• Create and implement test strategies and plans for software projects, considering various testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Design, document, and execute test plans, including defining test objectives, scope, and timelines. Manage testing resources and schedules effectively.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scripts based on software requirements and design documentation.
• Conduct various types of testing such as functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Perform manual and automated testing as required.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes and retesting.
• Ensure that the software meets quality standards and complies with defined requirements. Assess risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Utilize testing tools, frameworks, and technologies effectively to enhance the testing process.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders. Provide clear and concise reports on progress, issues, and quality metrics.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and workflows to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to junior team members. Share expertise and best practices to improve the overall testing capabilities of the team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to software testing.
• Demonstrate Flexible, adaptable, helpful approaches and help the team flourish in cross-cultural environment.
• Demonstrate Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bring-in Service improvement in the existing processes.
• Possess strong skills in planning, project management and attention to detail and has excellent problem solving and evaluative judgement skills.
• Communicate and co-ordinate people across geographies and among multiple teams to handle team across offshore and onshore.
• Manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines and through various stages of development and approval.
• Excellent problem-solving and optimization skills - identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and report issues to the management team; demonstrate appropriate risk-taking and comfort with ambiguity.

Salary: From 90,000 per annum plus Superannuation
